It’s happening…Suffer. is being published!!!

The first draft is done. My editor has it in hand. Our goal is to go to print in the fall of 2024.

As some of you know and for those of you who don’t, I finally began writing a set of books about my life as a physician. Using a modernized approach to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, Suffer., the first of these books, offers the life lessons that I have learned in caring for people living serious illness and facing life’s end.

In the fall of 2023, Manuscripts, my publisher, welcomed me into an amazing community of aspiring authors, writers, and experts. Together we have learned from and supported each other through the unbelievable (and arduous!) process of writing a book and publishing. As a hybrid publisher, Manuscripts facilitates a process of publishing that allows authors to keep their intellectual property. I am now inviting you to participate the process!!

Over the coming months as we approach publishing, I’ll be sharing key pieces of Suffer. and other things that I’ve encountered along the way. Would love to hear your questions, comments, and insights on the interviews and small excerpts of Suffer. that will be posted as we approach the pre-sale campaign this spring (March 25th!!!) and the publishing launch this fall!!
